3 Reasons NOT To Use Acne Medications

Acne is a major problem for some, it can be humiliating and bring your self-confidence way down. We look for fast solutions to get rid of acne and get drawn into hyped medications. Make sure you're careful though because most medications do more damage than they help.

There are many great hollistic and natural treatments to help get rid of acne in as little as 3 days. The Acne Answer Center offers more advice on how to clear your skin in as little as 3 days using completely natural methods!

If you're thinking of using medications, here are three things to really be careful of:

1. Some medications are too strong

Everyone has different types of skins and many times most medications may be too strong for your skin type. Using a medication that is too strong can lead to irritated skin and can do major damage.

You also run the risk of having major allergic reactions. In this case, the damage far surpasses the benefit of using such medications.

If you do decide that medication is necessary, then it is highly recommended that you first try just a small amount of the medication on a very small part of your face to make sure you don't have any negative reactions to the medication.

2. Permanent skin damage

Many medications can create very bad long-term damage that can be irreversible. Even if you decide to use a medication, make sure to consult your physician.

When using medication, watch for irritated or burning skin. A minor amount of disconfort is normal for the stronger medications, but it should be very short-term!

3. Being forced to use medication long-term

Long-term use of medication can make your body dependent and you run the risk of not being able to self-regulate your own body. You should always allow your body the chance to self-regulate.

Before you use any medication, spend at least a few weeks trying to relieve your acne using the widely known natural techniques. Only if you see no results after exhausting all natural resources should you consider using medications.
