But they sell out quickly, so you have to be tenacious and lucky to find one at that price even now. If you have more money than you know what to do with, it is easy to find a Wii at a much higher price. But since you probably don't have enough money to pay inflated prices, these three tips will help you buy a Wii at the more sane retail price.

Monitor websites

Do your research. Find out the online stores that stock Wii's such as Amazon.com and bookmark them on your browser. Monitor them at least once a day to see if they have a new shipment in. Also, try to get news of when websites are expecting shipments. You will have to be quick here. It is rumored that one recent shipment of Wii's at Amazon sold out in ten minutes.
