Broomfield, CO –January 28, 2008. 42U, the nation’s largest value-added reseller of server management and data center infrastructure solutions, today announced that it has entered into a reseller agreement with Emerson Network Power, a business of Emerson (NYSE: EMR) and the global leader in enabling Business-Critical Continuity™, to provide the full suite of Liebert power and cooling solutions. “Liebert technologies from Emerson Network Power provide the flexibility, efficiency and reliability that our customers need to increase data center performance, flexibility, availability and efficiency,” said Alan Mamane, President and CEO of 42U. “Adding these industry-leading solutions and services to our portfolio allows us to proactively address the power, cooling and space limitations to enable data center managers to securely grow their company’s technological advantage while minimizing their power consumption.” As part of the agreement, 42U’s IT Infrastructure Consultants will offer Liebert XD cooling solutions, which are designed for high-density servers and switches. The Liebert XD system can complement existing cooling systems to increase the utilization of data center space and energy, while enabling focused rack- and zone-level cooling to eliminate data center hot spots. “Today’s data centers need to accommodate power and heat loads that would have seemed laughably high only two years ago.” remarked Patrick Cameron, Director of Business Development for 42U. “The Liebert services and products available through Emerson Network Power provide a clear advantage by mitigating the potential downtime that can result from excessive heat and power disturbances.
