7 Ways To Increase Your Energy

* Get enough sleep.

The most common fault for decreased energy and fatigue is sleep deprivation. We need an average of at least 8 hours of sleep nightly. A sign that you are not getting enough sleep every night is if you easily sleep in on the weekends.

If you have to wake up early in the morning, go to sleep earlier in the evening. Going to bed even 30 minutes earlier can make a huge difference in your energy levels during the day.

* Reduce clutter.

Clutter is so stressful, especially when trying to function within a room and house. Think in those terms and get rid of all items that prevent smooth operation within the house, car and/or business.

* Drink more water.

The quickest way to weight loss and mind clarity is drinking 8 glasses of water daily. Flavor the water if you have to and remember if you feel thirsty, it is a sign you are already dehyrated.

Purchase a 32 ounce water bottle and fill it with plain or flavored water everyday. Put it in a place where you will see it throughout the day.

* Walking.

Walking is documented as one of the best ways to lose weight and increase your energy. You even burn more fat just walking than doing aerobics!

Make it into a habit to take a walk every day, and your energy levels will increase.

* Stop the routine.

Having the same old routine every day sucks out your soul and steals your energy. Do not allow yourself to get stuck in a rut! Do something new on a regular basis.

Now is the time to try something you have always wanted to try!

Isolation is a recipe for bad mood and low energy. Even when you don't feel like dealing with anyone, spending time with a person whose company you enjoy will energize you.

Even if you do not feel like visiting anyone, do, it is always worth it. It is amazing how a friend can cheer a bad day up and offer some inspiration.

* Lose some weight.

Excess weight is excess strain on your body that zaps energy. Remember how heavy a 10 pound bag of potatoes is. Now, imagine that tied onto your but or back, carrying it around 24 hours.
