You need not know anything about the technical aspect of editing, but can still edit digital images. You may have an imagined how that photo would turn up when you initially took a shot. Sometimes, the image may not reflect your thoughts. You land up in disappointment. Hey! Don't worry your disappointment can work magic. You just point out what all you do not like in the image you have just taken. You just describe how the image should actually look like. Have you. Aah! Now your becoming an editor. The next step is sit at your personal computer and start exploring ways to make the image look like how you want it to be.

All of us wanted to become presidents at some point in time, doctors at some point in time, and at least in our early school days would have had the desire to handle the camera to take the school events. It can be your son's photo, and your husbands photo you can morph images of your son in to his father or his grandfather, or you can morph your own self to your mother...See all it requires is a morphing software, and the images, and a few clicks away see even you are editing! Great thing! Big achievement. You will feel you are creating graphics for a fairy tale!

Learning to use every feature of the DigiCam is your first step towards editing. Using the adjustable features efficiently is by itself is the first step towards editing. Presetting the digital effects before shooting an event is the primary step of editing. Well, you have your great grandfather's picture, torn in the edges, rust in his shoes, a crater in his moustache the photograph is going to die! Many beauty saloons use this method to proceed further before then can start with your hair dressing. Many plastic surgeons show you how your face may look after the procedure. See, all of these are nothing but editing digital photography.

Simple patching and color intensity adjustment, image resolution adjustment, increasing the size, decreasing the size of the image, zoom in, zoom out are all the very many options available in digital photography. Editing photographs can be practiced as leisure. A little love for images will keep you long hours editing digital photographs happily.
