A Summer Weight Loss Plan For A New You

Summer refers to those hot, hot months when a lot of people display the tendency to gain a significant amount of weight. Several factors contribute to this truth, ranging from laziness as students are away from school during this period, to the number of social gathering we attend during the summer months where entire tables of delicacies and gastronomic delights is often presented for our taste.
Well, you you can transform yourself and your figure this summer, instead.
In fact, you can spend these hot days to carve the hot new you.
The number one "virtue" to learn during this period is discipline. Discipline pertains to the ability to do the things you have to do, and say no to the things you have to say no to. You realize you have to watch your diet. You know you have to watch what you eat. You know you have to engage in regular exercise. You realize you have to live a healthy lifestyle.
Knowledge is useless if you don't act on what you know. And observing what you know is what discipline is all about.
Practicing discipline, naturally, is difficult. You likewise need motivation.
Motivation can come in many forms. Want to win someone's attention with a fitter, healthier you? Want to live a longer life with your loved ones by monitoring your disposition? Want to be the apple of everyone's eyes in the beach by sunbathing with your ravishing, sensual figure?
No motivation can be considered as shallow. If your motivation leads you to take proper steps in succeeding with your goals, then it is a good motivation.
There are many things that you can learn during summer. Most of these activities involve working up some sweat that will help speed up your metabolism, help burn your calories, and help you lose weight. Enroll in ballet class. Learn Aikido or mixed martial arts or Tae Kwon Do. Join your town's swimming club. Try out for your local YMCA's basketball team.
Keep your body busy. Laziness is your enemy, especially during this period when the mind is conditioned to indulge the body to be lazy in preparation for the months ahead.
