A Tale Of Two Cities tickets are now available for you to watch the splendour and drama of the era of the French Revolution that comes to life in the musical adaptation of Charles Dickens’ epic masterpiece, A Tale of two cities. A Tale Of Two Cities is all set for a Broadway adaptation like some of the other novels of Dickens such as Nicholas Nickleby and Oliver Twist. The show is set to open on Broadway in late September and previews of the show are in the latter half of August. The story is set against the horrifying backdrop of the era of the French Revolution. The musical includes innumerable conspiracies, betrayals, mob violence, mass murder, unconditional love, heroic courage and sacrifice and unbelievable bravery. A Tale of Two Cities tells the story of Dr. Manette who has been released from the French Bastille after an imprisonment of seventeen years. They travel to England where they meet Charles Darney, who is currently in exile though he belongs to the French aristocracy, and Sydney Carton, a drunken cynic. Lucie and her family are drawn back to Paris by family secrets and political intrigue and it is here that the musical finds an unexpected hero in Sydney Carton at the peak of the Reign of Terror.
