You will make a mistake if you consider the Apple iPhone as just a simple mobile phone. It surely gives you the service of a mobile phone but also works as a music player, internet device, digital camera and a video player.

In looks, iPhone is slim and sleek, just like its two video cousins - iPod and iPod Nano. The iPhone is an 11.6mm thick, 2.4-inches wide and 4.5-inches tall gadget with an incredible 3.5-inch widescreen display. Its unique touch screen controls allow you to deal with all sorts of content including music, TV shows, movies and books in a quick time. The device is so dynamic that, it lets you sync content from your PC or from the iTunes in a flash. You can access the content of the phone, scroll through play-lists, albums, artists and songs with just a touch of a finger. Additionally, you can use the cover flow if you want to browse the music library at anytime.

The iPhone has a 2 mega pixels camera along with a photo management application. And you do it with a simple touch in the screen. Nevertheless, a QWERTY keyboard is incorporated with the iPhone, giving you higher flexibility while typing SMSs or emails. Unlike most mobile phones, the iPhone displays the picture attachments including the JPEG, GIF and TIFF in-line with the text. Furthermore, the gadget allows you to view Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and PDF file attachments.

The iPhone comes with a built-in rechargeable battery. In any case, if the battery reaches an end of lifetime; you can retune the phone to Apple. The company will replace it for free if it still is within the warranty period.

The iPhone, are locked to their service provider, such as O2 in the UK, T-Mobile in the Germany and AT&T in the US. If you are an UK citizen, you have to get your iPhone from the O2. Other mobile phone operators such as Orange, t-mobile and Vodafone can not sell iPhone because they have no agreements with the Apple Inc. The O2 gives three options to the interested buyers. These are - £35, £45, £55 in monthly installment packages. All of the three are basically 18 months contract, meaning the buyer has to pay back the price within 1.5 years. If the buyer takes the £55 deal, she /he will get 1200 minute talk time and 500 text massages.

Every electronic device has backdrops, so does the iPhone. For instance, it does not support voice dialing. Also, though the iPhone has a built in 2.0 mega pixel camera on the back, it does not have a flash nor does it support video recording.

If you browse different websites or blogs that reviews the mobile phones, you will see that most of the users feel that the iPhone is the ultimate gadget available in concurrent time. Some enthusiastic users even term the iPhone as the eighth wonder of the world.
