How to fit blogs to your Search Engine Optimization efforts

The practice of writing blogs is not very old. But, it has become quite popular with many netizens as a medium to express their personality in different ways. Even eminent persons are getting hooked to this practice. Even if a blogger writes one single page per day, it would amount to about 300 pages in a year. But, writing blogs and posting them on the net is not enough. There should be a large number of readers to the pages written as blogs. To make it more visible to its readers, these blogs would also require a Search Engine Optimization program like any other pages on the net.
Blog posts are much easier to create than other web pages which we normally see on the net. But, it does not require the writer to have extensive knowledge of HTML to write these pages so that these pages may rank quite high on any search made on the net. For helping you to write such blogs you would only require a blog application like WordPress to help you. But, you should take care to provide some SEO elements in your writing to get it ranked higher.
To do this, you should first make a list of keywords and keyword phrases to be included in your writing and then you have to optimize these keywords in your writing.
A few ideas are being given below to help to get your page optimized.
It would be very helpful if you could place your keyword or keyword phrase in the title of the page. Placing these keywords as close to the starting of the title would be even better.
You should try to distribute your keywords or keyword phrases all throughout your page. But, placement of these keywords should be with the flow of your writing and should not appear artificial to any reader. There is no general rule about number of times these keywords to be included in your writing. The general consensus is that you should try to place keyword once in the first paragraph as close to its beginning and in the last paragraph as close to its end and at least once in the paragraphs in between.
There are blog plugins available on sites like WebPress which would enable you to create URL of your site. It would be very helpful if you could enter a keyword or keyword phrase into URL while creating it.
Another blog plugin helps you to create the description of your page which is known as the meta tag of the page. This is the description which would appear in a search engine as a result of any search. Therefore, you should try to include a keyword or keyword phrase in this description.
Next time, when you sit down to write your blog, you may keep these points of Search Engine Optimization in mind to attract more readers to your page.
