Minissha Lamba-From Yahaan To Kidnap

Minissha Lamba was born in Kashmir to a Punjabi family originally belonging to Delhi on January 1, 1985. She has traveled round the world a lot due to her father’s career in Hospitality sector. The lady though, finally graduated from Miranda House, Delhi in 2004 with an English Honors degree.

Minissha Lamba was more inclined towards modeling rather than an acting career. In fact, she had plans for further studies to pursue a career in Journalism and taking up modeling as a hobby. But the fate has something different stored for her and she eventually ended up becoming a successful Bollywood actress.

She started her stint in modeling with brands like LG, Sony, Hajmola, Airtel, Sunsilk etc. But it was the ad shoot for Cadbury that turned out to be lucky for her. Minissha Lamba was immediately signed by Bollywood director Shoojit Sircar in 2005 and Yahaan became her debut movie.

It was followed by a spat of movies with Minissha in different roles like Corporate, Rocky: The Rebel, Anthony Kaun Hai and Honeymoon Travels. She has recently gone for a makeover becoming more seductive and sensuous in her roles.

One can see that very well in her latest releases Bachna Ae Haseeno and Kidnap where she did the famous bikini scene. Whatmore, Minissha Lamba has even posed for the Maxim magazine in 2 piece Bikini for its October 2008 issue.
