To get ahead in the IT industry it is crucial that you have the right qualifications and experience. By taking a Microsoft certificate training course one is on the road to becoming a well respected IT expert. However it important that when you do train for your Microsoft Certificate you do not just select any course, but one that is best suited to the skills you have currently.

Below we look at ways of getting your Microsoft Certificate and what kinds of courses you can take whether it is to get your MCSA (Microsoft Certified System Administrator) qualification or to get your Microsoft C++ Certificate qualification.

However, if you find actually making sure that you study when working alone is difficult then taking an evening or weekend Microsoft certificate training course may be the better option for you. Again you will need to make sure that you put time aside for your studies but you will carry these out in a more conventional classroom setting with other likeminded people.

Getting a Microsoft certificate no matter which one you select will be very beneficial to your career in the IT industry. Of all the IT certifications one can obtain today those provided by Microsoft are the most widely recognized of them all. Through the training you will be adept in various different areas of Microsoft systems and be able to take on a variety of different IT tasks and roles.

One of the first things you need to decide upon when it comes to Microsoft Certificate training is which platform you wish to do your training in. You have the choice between either Windows Server 2003 or Windows 2000. For Windows Server 2003 you should first off have at least 12 months experience in working in the IT industry especially in relation to both Microsoft network and desktop operating systems. Once training has been completed you will then be required to pass six core exams along with one elective.

For those who are intending to obtain a certificate for Microsoft Windows 2000 platform again you need to have at least 12 months experience but this time in relation to Microsoft's network operating systems only. For you to get your Microsoft Certificate at the end of your training you need to take and pass 5 core exams but two rather than one elective exam.

Through getting the right kind of Microsoft Certificate training one is well on the road to actually being able to get the better paid jobs in what has become an extremely competitive industry. Having such certificates is unlikely to hinder your IT career ambitions at all.
