Temperature Sensing Active RFID Tag Available from GAO

Toronto, Canada – GAO RFID Asset Tracking (www.GAORFIDAssetTracking.com) has launched an active RFID tag with temperature sensor (GAO127003) which is intended for identification and location of items in cold logistics or medicine transportation. It also has the ability to collect and transmit temperature data in real time.
This temperature sensing active tag operates at the frequency of 2.45GHz and withstands temperature ranges from -50℃ to 150℃, thus it works efficiently even in harsh environments. The tag is ideal for monitoring refrigerated items en route and can trigger an alarm if the tagged items’ temperature falls beyond preset limits. It has a maximum read range of 100m as well as a long battery life of four years; one hundred tags can be read simultaneously. Overall, the highly accurate tag is an ideal tool for identifying the exact time of temperature change.
