The Employer, The American Economy, The Doctor's Excuse

With all the recent concerns about the American economy, is it any wonder that people are truly worrying about their jobs? Is it any wonder that employers are getting more demanding about people’s work schedules? The unemployment lines have swelled and people no longer feel secure in their jobs. They are doing things to stay secure like bring a doctor excuse to work if they were gone.

Employers are making demands on them like never before, for example the demands of written doctors excuses when a person has an absence from work because he or she was sick. It used to be missing work now and then was understood. Things happen and employers understood this. But then when the economy got so shaky, employers no longer felt that they could allow absences unless they were excused.

To a degree getting a doctor’s excuse made sense – especially if you had to go to the hospital for a week or so. A hospital doctors excuse made sense. The person had a true medical situation that required an extended leave.

But this whole needing a doctor’s excuse to save your job or even for school if you were just out for a day soon became a problem for people as well. There they were, needing an authentic doctors excuse, but they only had a slight fever and cough. They weren’t sick enough to actually go to the doctor. That was probably why the fake doctors sick note started becoming popular.

As you can imagine, it wasn’t long before the fake doctor’s excuse was in high demand. Website stores started carrying them. You see, they solved a real problem. The problem of a logical thing taken too far – a common problem in our society. Although it was logical to get an authentic doctor’s excuse if you had to be a patient for a week, maybe to a hospital or clinic, it certainly wasn’t logical to do this if you just were out for the day.

It also was a problem because of those time when a mother takes a day because of her children’s need to stay home. She may just have to monitor to make sure the child is okay. Now in the middle of caring for her child, she is supposed to take him or her out into the elements so she can get a slip from the doctor? As you can see, at some level it just didn’t make sense, yet employers still demanded it.

The obvious solution was the online stores offering the printable fake doctor’s excuse. It was in a format that looked like the real doctors excuse. You could download a blank sample onto your computer, save the form and print it out whenever you needed. You could copy it from the template and customize it to fit your needs. In essence, for a very small fee, people had the doctor’s release they needed without all the ridiculous demands.

As people saw more and more of these examples online, they realized that with the ease in getting them, and keeping copies of them on their machines, their problem of an illogical or too demanding boss would be much easier to handle the next time they needed a doctor’s excuse.
