- Any colour is seemed more sated on a background of contrast colour, the combination of contrast colours permits to raise the general saturation of figures.

- Some colours, if combined with each other, look less saturated, the closer colours are within the colour circle the less saturated their composition is.

- The more difference in brightness and saturations, the stricter contrast will emerge.

For instance, orange looks as yellow on a red background, yellow seems green and green becomes bluer. And on a bright green background, red and dark colours get more violet and yellow goes closer to orange.

There are a large amount of variants of landscape engineering. They rely on various aspects, such as relief of the ground, customs of the region, taste and financial opportunities of the possessor.
