Various types of psychic readings

A psychic reading is a method by which an attempt is made to foretell the feature of a person or a group (like a company or a country).
There are various ways psychic readings are carried out. This article would describe some of the important ones. All these types, methods and systems of psychic reading are carried by people who claim to have some psychic abilities to make the reading.
Distant reading
In this method, the reader does not speak to the client or meet face to face. The client asks a few questions regarding his or her future life. To answer these questions, the reader uses intuitive senses to provide a suitable answer to those questions. This method does not use visual or verbal cues, which is provided by face to face or telephonic contact.
Psychometry reading
Psychometry is a kind of postcognition which enables a psychic reader to receive information about people, events or objects associated with events that have already occurred, or are presently occurring, by being in close contact with the area or object where the event took or taking place. Commercial Psychometry readers ask the subjects for their favorite and most meaningful objects, like wedding rings, glasses, car, and keys etc. for the reading. The reading is based on the belief that the objects which are in close proximity of the person for a long time carries some of the energy of the person. Astrology
Astrology predicts the future of a person based on his date and time of birth and place of birth and on the alignment of planets and stars at the time of birth. The study of astrology has a long history and even pre-dates the scientific study of the stars. There are many books written on Astrology. Thus, astrology could be read and learnt and does not require any psychic power for the reader.
Palm reading
Palm reading or Palmistry also does not require any special psychic power. It has been practiced for centuries and could be studied and learnt like astrology. Palm reading is a method of studying the lines, shapes, wrinkles and curves on the palm to predict the future.
Tarot reading
In tarot reading, a deck of 78 cards known as Tarot is used to predict and interpret different relationship like love, career, marriage etc.
There are many other methods of psychic readings are prevalent but the method described above are the more important ones.
