Who Is The Mysterious Party Clown?

And it’s another reminiscing day. We were talking about fantastic birthday parties with my friends yesterday. And it made me remember my most unforgettable birthday party when I was still a lad. It was when I was five years of age. My parents hired a party entertainer to add fun to the event, a funny clown in Boston.

And it was a great surprise.

Exactly 3 a.m. All are so busy preparing for my party. Grandma is cooking her specialty, boneless milkfish. Grandma is busy making the woods that will be used to cook the entire foodstuff, and mother, oh my mother, got upstairs to wake up the princess of the event.

“Andy, my dear. Wake up. All is busy preparing for your birthday party. You must be prepared too. Come and take a bath.”

I perfunctorily open my eyes and ask mother, “Mum, what party? I dunno what you are talking about.”

Mother led me to the terrace to see the whole family and friends who are hectic in doing their assignment for my party. I can’t stop myself, and manage to say a…

“Wow!”

Mother saw the excitement in my eyes. “Come on now, Andy, let us also prepare. Your friends and playmates are surely on their way to your party.”

After bathing, mother brings out what I will wear in the party. And it’s a second “wow!” for me. She also bought me a new dress to match the occasion.

All is prepared. All is waiting. I already saw my best friend, Jesica holding her gift for me and chatting with our friends. All is ready, and they are all waiting for the celebrator.

And there I came in.

They are all happy to see me. And so do I. They are all surprised with the way I look. “You are a princess, Andy!” Jesica told me. Flattered, I thank her appreciation. Just after I thanked her, I was completely in shock when somebody hold my arms and whispered in my ear, “Happy birthday Andy.”

It was a clown, a clown here in Boston!

Hahaha. I laughed and laughed as they shouted, “Surprise Andy!!! Happy Birthday!!!” I never imagined that they would hire a clown in Boston Ma. All I know is that these clowns were only for corporate event entertainers, now I know that they are also party entertainers in Boston! Gee, it was really a surprise!

The said clown entertains us very much as we could drop off on our seats. He was a great entertainer, though I don’t know him. I wonder who is that person inside that funny costume. What is so different about him? Nah, that remains unanswered until the party ends. I waited for the clown to take off his make-up. And it was again a surprise for me. Can you guess who he is? It is very funny to think about, it was my father! Hahaha…it was the most memorable party of mine since it was filled with great surprises!
