First off, if you're new to the game, or just becoming frustrated leveling up a new character, let me had you an easy World of Warcraft Guide Tip: Pick the right Combination of Professions! Why would you want to do that? Because if you pick the wrong group you'll have to do twice as much work to get anywhere! So some that complement each other! While you're in the game you can run into a trainer who will show you the ways of their talents. Keep in mind, you can only pick 2! Choose wisely, you don't want to wind up like that Nazi guy in Indian Jones with his face melting off "He chose- Poorly." Here's a quick breakdown of your options: Tip #1: Leather Working and Skinning This is a great combo because after you kill a monster you're able make armor from its skin to sell or wear. (Not a bad option if you're in a pinch) Tip #2: Blacksmithing and Mining With this combo you're able to first off mine minerals to then use in armor and weapons! (Hint: you can also combine mining with engineering and see some good results.) Tip #3: Alchemist & Herbalist This is pretty simple, you can grab plants while you're out exploring and then use them to make potions. Tip #4: Fishing & Cooking You'll see why in just a second, but do not pick Fishing or Cooking as your 2 permanent Professions. However, if you already have you can use Fishing with Alchemy, but if you combine Fishing and Cooking you can eat what you pull out of the water. So you see, if you combine Leatherworking with Mining you're going to leave yourself open to needing addition help all the time. So make sure you pick 2 professions that are complementary. Also- There are 3 specific professions that can be learned and won't take up your 2 permanent slots. First Aid -Make Bandages and heal after battles. Cooking - Cook your fish and such to get more health from them. Fishing - Fish for free food! (See, never pick Fishing and Cooking as your 2 Permanent professions!)
