When done right, it is a guaranteed success as it not only entertains the viewers but also makes them remember the advertised product. Many of the big Advertising agencies use constantly humor in their ads. Who can forget the Budweiser Frogs and Wendy's "Where's the Beef" on television. And the VW Bug intro campaign was a great one in print. There are even more internet advertising samples out there.
